Veronica Adelina Martinez Paz, of Triangle, was arrested on Saturday, Dec. 23 and charged with three counts of felony child neglect after police discovered her three children, 8, 4 and 9-months old were left unsupervised in her apartment on the 3600 block of Jurgensen Drive, Prince William County police said.
The discovery was made by police serving unrelated paperwork on a resident of the apartment, they said.
The children were not injured and were released to the custody of known parties, police said. Paz is being held on $5,000 bond.
